At closing time today London Rising Tide played a spoof game of football
outside the Football Association's headquarters in Soho Square with a coal ball, scoring own-goals and with the slogans 'Climate FU Cup' and 'E-ON: No new coal' emblazoned on their football shirts. On the backs of their shirts were the names of the proposed new coal-fired power stations.

Activists from London Rising Tide staged a 'die-in' in the BP sponsored Tate Britain on 4 January. Bob Jones from LRT said, "We're here to demand that the Tate cut its ties with BP; an art gallery is no place for an environmental hazard such as an oil company".
